About

A frontier AI studio for the work that has to be right.

Neuralcraft builds decision systems for regulated work — insurance, healthcare, audit, public safety. We take engagements end-to-end: research, models, product surface, and operations. We exist because the gap between what AI can do and what regulated workflows can actually accept is wider than most teams admit, and someone has to close it.

Why we built it.

We started Neuralcraft after watching too many promising AI projects stall at the boundary of regulated work. Either the model was right and the audit trail couldn't defend it, or the eval was strong and the product surface couldn't earn an operator's trust, or the deployment cleared every legal review and then drifted in production with nobody watching.

Our thesis is unglamorous: every one of those failure modes is engineering, not magic. They get solved when one team holds the modeling, product, and operations views at once — with eval and audit as first-class deliverables, not afterthoughts. That is the team we are building.

Leaders

The people setting the bar.

Neuralcraft is led by a small group with deep, first-hand experience shipping AI systems into work that has to defend itself. Each of them runs an engagement; none of them have a job title that says "manager."

Niyas Mohammed

Niyas Mohammed

Co-founder & CEO

Niyas led applied AI engagements across insurance and audit before starting Neuralcraft. He sets product direction and runs the engagements end-to-end.

Michael Mathews

Michael Mathews

Co-founder & CTO

Michael has shipped ML systems into healthcare and public-sector workflows for a decade. He owns the modeling stack and the practices we hire into.

Brijesh CM

Brijesh CM

Head of Evaluation & Safety

Asha was previously a research engineer on alignment and red-teaming. She runs the eval and safety practice — every model we ship clears her bar first.

Life at Neuralcraft

What it looks like, week to week.

Balance

Hard work, on a sustainable cadence.

Regulated work demands intensity, not heroics. We run on long quarterly arcs with one on-site week, then four weeks of focused remote time. No surprise weekends. No 'crunch culture' as a permanent state. The systems we ship have to last; the people who ship them do too.

Craft

Work with people who hold all three views.

Our engineers can argue model architecture, product surface, and executive risk in the same conversation. That is rare, it is the bar, and the reason most people join — the team you work next to is the team you will learn the most from for the next five years.

Customers

Ship into work that actually matters.

Our customers are insurers, hospitals, audit firms, and public agencies. The decisions we touch affect claims, patients, financial controls, casework — outcomes you can point at. The feedback loop is short, real, and usually held by someone with a regulator on speed dial.

Locations

From Trivandrum to the world.

Our home is a small studio in Technopark, Trivandrum — a campus that has been quietly exporting deep technical work out of Kerala for three decades. We work from there, and with customers and teammates across UK, EU, and North America time zones.

Careers at Neuralcraft

We're hiring engineers and researchers who want to ship into regulated work — where the eval is the bar, the audit trail is the deliverable, and the model is the easier half.
